Update v1.0.3 10 April 2026

Shop is Updated Below are the noted errors found in previous update

  1. Order stock not updating - For products without divisible amount, when sold they could not update the correct amount in order stock.
They are now fixed and working.

What's New? Below are the New Items that have added in the new update

  1. Correct Order Stock Updating - Sale Updates now corresponds with the Order Update of products without divisible products.
  2. Finance and Stock Reports - Shop Owners can view their shop's weekly finances and stock, most sold or ordered items with their finances.
  3. Time Toggle Update - Users can now change the format of the time they see on the dashboard. Time Ago toggle changes the time to show ago, e.g 3 mins ago, Exact time shows the time when it was placed e.g 3 Apr 11:06.
  4. Notification Sound - Notifications received on the shop app play a notification sound from now on.
  5. Social Medial Links - Smartstock Africa official media channels is visible on the shop's sidebar for ease of access and allow users to provide feedback and suggestions.

Update v1.0.2 05 April 2026

Shop is Updated Below are the noted errors found in previous update

  1. Account Login Issue - Users could not login or create accounts during certain days.
  2. Order and Sales Messages Not Arriving - Users could not receive messages after making sales or orders.
  3. Overfitting dashboard data - The homepage would lag when processing the large amount of data it received from backend.
  4. Rapid click error - If users rapidly clicked an Order or Sales Item the second click would not update the Checkout page in time.
  5. Empty Checkout Request - Users could successfully send Orders or Sales on an empty check out page.
They are now fixed and working.

What's New? Below are the New Items that have added in the new update

  1. Account Login Success - Users can login using Google One Tap or the provided login form.
  2. Order and Sales Messages Arriving - Users receive messages after making sales and orders.
  3. Minimal dashboard data - The information is the dashboard has been limited to increase performance and reduce the lag that users were experiencing.
  4. Cooldown Implimented - Users have to wait until the Checkout Page updates before making a new request.
  5. Empty Checkout Page Request Not Allowed - Users cannot place orders or sales without products in the check out page.
  6. Non Zero Stock - Shop Owners and employees can toggle the orders page view to remove stock that have reached 0 in both order stock amount and sale stock amount.
  7. Order and Sales Counter - Order and Sale counter has been increased to 5 units in length allowing upto 99999 order and sales per shop.
  8. Receipt Generation - The update is here! Shop Owners and Employees can receive receipts after making sales and orders immediately which they can view, download or print using Thermal Roll Printers. Disclaimer: Receipts are only valid on the server for only 10 minutes, after which you will receive a 'Receipt Doesn't Exists' page.

  1. Unscrollable Product Add Form - The Product Form could not scroll to show button in small screen heights.
  2. Order Product Request Couldn't Send - You could not create certain order products.
  3. Net Profit Miscalculations - The net profit displayed on the shop's homepage did not reset after user presses home button.
They are now fixed and working.

What's New? Below are the New Items that have added in the new update

  1. Scrollable Product Add Form - You can now scroll the Product Add Form to show button.
  2. Order Product Request Now Sends - You can create certain order products.
  3. Net Profit Calculation - The Net Profit resets and calculates correctly after pressing the home page.
  4. User Profile Pictures - Shop Owners and Employess can see profile pictures of stockers in stock transaction tables.
  5. Sale Stock Transaction Table - Shop Owners and Employess can now see changes in sale stocks in its own dedicated Sale Stock Transaction Table.
  6. Stock Transaction Table Changes - The table now states {username} sold/ordered {amount} for every stock changes.
  7. SKU code changes - Sku code now increases counter for similar named products and differents attributes. For example if you create a Lip Gloss product with attribute of Color Red and another Lip Gloss but with Color Pink , it will appear with the same 5 start code, but different counter code.

Smartstock Africa is never a finished product. Therefore major updates will be implimented on Weekends. The version that exist on the stated date is considered the Base Update and updates will be based from here onwards
